Resonance of the Souls

The Kishin are beings created as the final result of a corrupted soul. A soul becomes corrupted when it devours pure human souls to gain power, usually as a means to escape fear. As a result, the person's soul deviates from the path of a human and begins to walk the path of a demon, becoming a "Kishin's egg". The creation of the first Kishin, Asura, brought with it madness. Shibusen spent most of its time, trying to defeat the Kishin, and to prevent the birth of new Kishin. However, they failed when a new Kishin was born. Unknown to them who this Kishin is, Shibusen constantly trains by going on missions and researching madness surges throughout the world.
